Social media scheduler — UK

The social media scheduler built for UK small businesses

Write the post once, choose where it goes and when, and get back to running the business. Priced in pounds, built by a UK company, with your data in the EU.

What a social media scheduler actually does

A scheduler is the difference between posting when you remember and posting when your customers are looking. You write a post at a quiet moment — Sunday evening, the gap between the lunch rush and the school run — and tell the software when it should go out. It goes out on its own. You are not on your phone at eight in the morning trying to remember which account you last used, and you are not going three weeks without posting because the last fortnight was busy.

The second thing it does matters more for a small business, and it is the one people underestimate: it stops you writing the same post several times. Most sole traders keep two or three accounts going. Posting to all of them by hand means opening each app, retyping or pasting the caption, re-cropping the picture, and doing it again next time. WyreIt takes the post once and sends it to every account you ticked, in parallel, so three platforms take about as long as one.

What it does not do is invent your business for you. Nobody's scheduler knows that the boiler job went well or that the new coffee arrived on Tuesday. The material is yours. The scheduler is the bit that makes sure it actually gets published.

The platforms WyreIt posts to

WyreIt publishes to Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Bluesky. That is the whole list, and the table below is generated from what the product can genuinely publish to right now rather than typed out by hand — so it cannot quietly go out of date, and it cannot promise you somewhere your posts will not actually appear.

You connect an account once, from the Connect screen, by signing in to that platform and approving WyreIt. Nothing is retyped and no passwords are handed over: the connection is an OAuth grant that you can withdraw from the platform's own settings or from ours. LinkedIn is worth a note — one LinkedIn connection covers your own profile and any company Pages you administer, and each shows up as its own tickable profile, so a sole trader who shares a name with their own Page can see which identity a post is going out under before it goes.

Two things are deliberately absent. WhatsApp and Messenger are not on the list, because they are messaging rather than broadcast — you do not post to them, you reply to people — and pretending otherwise would sell you a feature that has no meaning. And any platform not on the list is simply not there yet: we would rather be a short honest list than a long one with footnotes.

What it costs, in pounds

WyreIt is billed in sterling by a UK company, so the price you read is the price on your statement. There is no dollar figure converted at checkout and no exchange rate to watch. Standard is £19 a month and covers any three platforms plus three extra profiles. Pro is £49 a month and covers all your platforms plus four extra profiles. Agency is bespoke and arranged case by case, for people looking after several clients.

A platform and an extra profile are not the same thing, and the difference is worth thirty seconds. A platform is the service itself. An extra profile is a second account on a service you already use — the second Instagram for the other shop, the company Page as well as your own. You are not charged twice for the same platform because you run two accounts on it.

Every account starts with 14 days free and no card. Nothing is taken at signup, so there is nothing to cancel if you decide it is not for you; if you do subscribe, the paid plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee, and you can change or cancel your plan yourself from inside the app.

A UK company, and where your data sits

WyreIt is operated by WYREIT APP LTD, company number 17283422, registered in England and Wales. Support is answered from the UK and the terms you agree to are English law. If something goes wrong there is a real registered company behind it, not a support form pointed at a different timezone.

Your data is stored in the European Union — Supabase in Frankfurt — and WYREIT APP LTD is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller under registration ZC195947. We operate under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Where a sub-processor sits outside the UK or EEA, the transfer runs on the standard safeguards: the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

The connection tokens that let WyreIt post on your behalf are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and held server-side only. They are never returned to your browser and never put in a URL. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from the settings screen without emailing anyone — that is a right under UK GDPR, and it should not require a conversation.

How it works — three steps

  1. Step one
    Connect your accounts

Sign in to each platform once and approve WyreIt. It takes a couple of minutes for the first one and less for the rest. You can disconnect any of them later without touching the others.

  2. Step two
    Write the post once

Type it, add the photo or the video, and tick the accounts it should go to. The composer shows you each platform's character limit as you write, so you find out a caption is too long for X before you schedule it rather than afterwards.

  3. Step three
Pick the time, or send it now

Set a date and time and the post joins the calendar; leave it and it goes immediately. Scheduled posts are published in parallel across the accounts you ticked, and the calendar shows you what is queued so you can see the gaps before your customers do.

Common questions

What is the best social post scheduler in the UK for a small business?

The honest answer is that it depends on who is doing the posting. If you have a marketing team and approval chains, the enterprise tools earn their price. If it is you, between customers, then the things that matter are: is it priced in pounds, does it cover the platforms you actually use, and can you understand every button without a training session. WyreIt is built for the second case — Standard is £19 a month, Pro is £49, both billed in sterling by a UK company, and every account starts with 14 days free and no card. We have written honest side-by-side comparisons with the tools people usually weigh us against, and they do not quote competitor prices, because those change without telling us.

Which social media scheduling tools work with TikTok and Instagram?

Most of the established schedulers support both, and so does WyreIt: TikTok and Instagram are two of the Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Bluesky it publishes to, and you can send the same post to both from one screen. The thing to check before you pay for any of them is what "supports" means for video, because a tool can list a platform and still make you finish the job by hand. WyreIt publishes video to Instagram as a Reel and to TikTok as a TikTok, directly, without a "now open the app to finish posting" step. Worth knowing either way: a vertical 9:16 video works on both, but the two have different length limits, so the safe move is to keep it short enough for the stricter one.

How do I schedule a week of posts in one go?

Set aside half an hour and write the week in one sitting. In WyreIt you write each post in the composer, tick the accounts it goes to, and give it its own date and time — so a week is seven or eight passes through the same screen rather than seven trips into seven apps. There is no bulk spreadsheet upload; posts are written one at a time, deliberately, because a caption that reads well on X rarely reads well on LinkedIn. The calendar then shows the week laid out, which is where you notice the Thursday gap while there is still time to fill it. Most small businesses find three or four posts a week is sustainable and a daily target is not.
